Naren Kumar Alagesan is a Splunk Developer with a passion for data visualization. He has a strong background in SPL and field extraction, having created Saved Searches, Lookup Tables, Macros, and Data Models in both Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud. Naren is also experienced in developing dashboards, Splunk views, and Search Managers using SplunkJS, MVC, and JQuery. He has a deep understanding of Indexers, Forwarders, and Knowledge Objects and has been responsible for requirement gathering and owning complex dashboards and reports. Naren has directly worked with clients and stakeholders to deliver valuable insights for the development of businesses. In addition to his Splunk expertise, Naren is also experienced in Tableau dashboard creation, data cleaning, sets, parameters, calculated fields, and storyboarding. He is an avid storyteller and enjoys analyzing sports events and players' performances. Naren is a huge sports enthusiast and is always interested in exploring new ways to analyze sports data. Currently, Naren is working as a Technology Lead at Infosys, where he loves analyzing data, solving problems, and debugging. He has experience in Splunk 6.5.*, SQL, Javascript, and CSS. Naren has hands-on experience in creating dashboards and reports to provide valuable insights for business development. Before joining Infosys, Naren worked as a Member Technical at Bosch and as a Software Developer at Veradis Technologies LLC, where he built web applications and provided support for back-end modules with SQL Server.
